My favorite food

Papas Rellenas | Recetas GourmetMy favorite food is stuffed potatoes, because I never forgot the first time that I ate them, when I was 10 years old, it was something special. I remember that day my aunt went to visit my grandmother (as usual), I remember it was a Sunday when she cooked them. When I saw the food, it was something new to me, although it looked similar to golden potatoes, but with another texture and when I tried them, I was really delighted. I loved potato´s taste combined with the flavor of the filling of meat with onion and egg (like empanada´s filling).

But now I don't eat them as much as before because I like the ones my aunt or grandmother does, the ones I bought in the supermarket or in another stores are delicious, but not as much as the ones that do them. I think it's because of the affection they have in making them.
I don't really know the origin of stuffed potatoes, but I'd like to thank who I create this wonderful recipe.

For now, a professional that is interesting to me is Jan Gehl, he was born in Denmark in 1936. He is an architect and also a professor of urban planning at the Real Academia Danesa de Bellas Artes.
He collaborated on numerous projects for urban planning, an example that I really like is the city of Copenhagen that is the capital of his country.

Urban Networks: El renacimiento del espacio urbano: la experiencia ...This city is considered a world reference, it is one of the cities with the highest quality of life, due to its interest in promoting public spaces and social conditions as part of its priorities. Jan Gehl was the one who promoted this through a movement that seeks to rescue the human needs for interaction, inclusion and intimacy which were forgotten during the urbanization process, for this reason Copenhagen began to integrate strategies and public policies for the well-being of people. Thanks to him and another professionals Copenhagen changed considerably from the city of the automobile to being the "city of the people".
I really admire him I read some of his books and I really liked the book called “Cities for the people”, for this book Copenhagen began to be called that way.
